About Toca Boca World

Toca Boca World is a character and storytelling game built around people, rooms and the objects inside them. You decide what happens next rather than following a fixed race or a combat objective. A character can arrive at a new place, meet another person or begin a small everyday story using the objects already in the room.

How to Play

Begin by looking around the available location. Select a character and move them into the scene, then try one object at a time to learn how it responds. A table, a bag or a piece of clothing can become part of the story when you give it a purpose. Start with a simple situation, such as a visit or a change of outfit, before adding several characters at once.

Keep your first scene small enough to follow. Decide who is arriving, what they want to do and which objects make that action visible. Once that interaction makes sense, add another person or move the story to another available room. The result is easier to understand when each change follows from the previous action.

Controls

Use the mouse or touch screen to select characters and interact with the scene. Drag movable characters or objects to the position you want. Follow any opening instructions shown by the player, and keep the playing area in focus while interacting. Fullscreen gives the scene more room on a smaller display.

Creative Tips

• Give each character one clear role before starting a scene.
• Try an object on its own before combining it with several other props.
• Keep important characters visible instead of covering them with decorations.
• Move one character at a time when arranging a conversation.
• Turn an ordinary action into a short story with a beginning and an ending.
